Uniplaces Iconography

Uniplaces, the Lisbon-based student accommodation marketplace, needed a brand hero that could connect with students across Europe. Starting from an extensive concept exploration, we designed a minimal, versatile mascot and built out a full visual vocabulary—emotions, professions, avatars, and graphical elements—that became central to the brand's identity across all touchpoints.

The brief called for a brand hero—a mascot that could represent Uniplaces across every touchpoint and speak to students of all backgrounds. We explored dozens of directions before landing on a minimal, rounded character whose simplicity makes it endlessly adaptable to different contexts, emotions, and professions.
